Congratulations to a couple of new marathoners in our Salsa co
mmunity! Both Liz and Gerardo (of Salson) completed their first marathon on Sunday Dec 12th!! I had the joy of running this 26.2 miles with Liz, who kept such high spirits during this long endeavor. Prior to this, her longest run ever was 13.1 miles. For her to double that amount of miles, was a major accomplishment. Just keep in mind, as you were out partying on Saturday night and sleeping in on Sunday morning this dedicated young lady was preparing and running for 293 minutes!!
To celebrate this grand feat we'll be heading out to dinner after Mondays Salsa class....so let us know if you'd like to join us!

By the way, if you're wondering about that picture... her deadlift max is 230 lbs!
