Unfortunately we have to report, that on Thursday April 29th, one of our fellow Salseras had her purse stolen at Sapphire. The purse was never found, although they searched trash cans and the bathroom stalls (these are the typical locations where these cowards go to discard empty wallets and purses).
Besides being an adequate new venue with a couple of untrained door staff, and a DJ that occassionally plays some good music, the types of individuals that f
requent this lounge are mostly "non salsa family." So please be aware.
Ladies, as a preventative measure consider an "arm wallet" to carry your keys, money, and ID...email us if you need info on these special wallets. Also watch those drinks closely as you dance on the floor. You never know if an unattended drink will get spiked at this place.
