How you can be a better dancer... Crossfit!!

Build a new sense of body awareness, core control (for your dance connection and spin technique) and a realization that you CAN do what you never imagined possible!!! How? With Crossfit of course!!

Many of our students have enjoyed Crossfit workouts: Deandre, Tenoch, Tido, Adrian, Dave, Suzanne, Roselady, Christine, Alberto, Angie, Filipe, Ryan, Austin, Theadra, Lindsay. Rob's shoulder mobility has improved, allowing for better bachata leads. And doing all those squats have made the ladies feel well supported in his dips! Ladies, by strengthening your core, your follow will feel lighter, your spins will be more precise and controlled, and your back will be protected in deep dips.

Last Saturday Adrian, Liz and Summer participated in a city-wide Crossfit Competition at Crossfit Works, here's a little slideshow of how it went...

As you can see from the video, Crossfit is a fitness program that all levels of abilities are able to do. Yes, that was a pregnant lady! Molly is not only an exellent athlete, but also is prepared to protect your life as a firefighter. Whether you're an elite athlete, or 30+ pounds over your ideal weight and fitness is totally new to you, you'll find that Crossfit will challenge you and develop a sense of pride upon each workout completion.
